Shanghai 2022 Lockdown

The Shanghai 2022 lockdown was a citywide two-month experience. In order to control the rising Covid-19 cases throughout the city, residents were forced to stay in their compounds, leading to unprecedented circumstances and extreme measures for people to survive under these conditions. These photos were taken both within my compound, as well as around the city before the lockdown was officially lifted on June 1st.
